Your Comprehensive Guide to GRE exam preparation

Understanding the GRE

The GRE, a standardized entrance exam, evaluates the academic and practical abilities of international students seeking postgraduate education in various international institutions. This comprehensive exam assesses critical thinking, abstract reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

While numerous educational institutions in countries like the USA, Canada, and Australia consider GRE scores for admissions, it’s important to note that the GRE might not be mandatory for universities in the UK. Some institutions have made these scores optional, so applicants should verify their desired university’s requirements before taking the exam.

What Constitutes a Good GRE Score?

A good GRE score depends on the specific graduate program and its admission criteria. Typically, a competitive score aligns with or surpasses the 50th percentile of scores for the intended programs. Scores range from 130 to 170 in each section, with an overall score of 340. Scoring 160 or higher in each section or a total score of 320 is generally considered good.

Consistent Study Schedule

Real GRE Practice

Practice with genuine GRE materials: Access official GRE practice resources like the Official Guide to the GRE revised General Test, offering authentic GRE questions and complete practice tests.

Mock Tests

Take practice exams: Regularly test yourself to track progress, boost confidence, and refine test-taking strategies. Utilise online free tests or GRE prep books featuring practice exams.

Learn from Mistakes
